AJ, I noticed you are having trouble with your vowels:
a = ah (as in father)
e = eh (as in ten)
i = ee (as in sheep)
o = oh (as in goat)
u = oo (as in suit)
The sounds are shorter than English vowels. It would be easier to work on vowel sounds if you memorize the song rather than read it.
